  • It goes without saying that we create well thought out, structured and personalised training plans however, what makes us different is our focus on the smaller things that make a big difference. We will give you pre and post race strategies, recovery and nutrition strategies. Psychology plays a huge part as we get older, we will give you mental strategies to help you to hit your training and racing goals.

  • Keeping an open channel between athlete and coach is essential and should not be restricted. With this in mind, I ask all of my athletes to contact me any time they feel the need. Whether it is phone call, text, email, Zoom or face to face my door is always open.

  • Monthly coaching isn’t for everyone. Sometimes, all you want is a bit of guidance. Our off the shelf plans are designed to help guide you towards your racing and training goals. You may want us to tailor a particular plan. For example, your goal may be 6 months away and not 16 weeks, we can amend any plan to suit your needs. Just send us an email describing your specific goal and we’ll email you a tailored plan.

  • Typically masters athletes are in the over 40’s bracket, once athletes reach this age their bodies tend to need more specific training, nutrition and recovery strategies. MMC was created by myself, Craig Berry. I have competed in triathlon, duathlon, running, bike racing and time trailing since the age of 13. Since turning 40 I have become an ironman finisher, a GB age group competitor, sub 90 minute half marathon runner and set PB’s at distances from 5k to the marathon.

    As individuals age, their bodies undergo several physiological changes that can impact athletic performance such as muscle mass, bone density, cardiovascular function, flexibility, recovery time and hormonal changes. Coaches need to take all of these things into consideration when creating a training plan for their athletes.
